When you start taking piano lessons.....

Piano

To take piano lessons, you need a piano. It can be either acoustic or electric. If you purchase an electric one, make sure it has 88 KEYS with PIANO TOUCH. Contact me for recommendations.

Note Book

Please bring a note book to the lesson. I will write some comments, suggestions and home work for you.

Unique Home work

I will often give a student homework in addition to keyboard practice such as "write down all of the sounds you hear in one evening" to extend your sound awareness.

Lesson fee

A 30 min lesson is $35 (beginner - Intermidiate)
A 60 min lesson is $75 (Intermidiate - Advanced)

One additional comment

If you want to take lessons in Japanese, please let me know. In either case I will teach musical terms in English to avoid confusion; however, everything else can be discussed in Japanese if you prefer.
